yay. Yeah, that seminar was sure fun. My favorite parts included my supreme domination over everyone in the instant turn, the railroad track scare tactics, and the fact that 3/4 of the class were women. But my absolute favorite part was when the coach went around and gave everyone their very own set of tennis balls. When he got to me he started to hand them to me, and then stopped and turned to Neale and said, "Do you want her to have these?" All of the women in the class either sat up really straight or gasped, and I just turned to Neale and said, "OH PLEASE honey?! *Can* I have them? Can I get your permission?" Obviously some men still live in the middle ages. I think it would have been nicer if he had said to *both* of us "Do you guys even need these?" But no.

Oh hey Neale, can I get that 50 cent raise in my weekly allowance while I'm at it here?

BTW, I suspect the LCI coach up in Oregon isn't the only cave man who is frightened by the though of the woman of the house having some (tennis) balls....

It's going to be great having another LCI in the county. Of course it remains to be seen what Amy wants to sign up for but even if it's just teaching the occasional class it'll go a long way toward helping the town out for cycling.

Speaking of which, when's your first class going to be, Amy?
