Well, I thought Joel had gone belly-up. But instead he has moved. Caballo Bike N Ski is now located just down the little row of stores from the New Mexico Dept. of Motor Vehicles office, right near where Virtual Los Alamos used to live at 935 Central.
And with gas fast closing in on four bucks a gallon, might be worth visiting one of your local bike shops and getting that commuter rig tuned up for the summer riding and gas guzzling season.

Or go in and just buy something. It is good to have a local bike shop and Joel is a competent alternative to The Bike Butcher.
Sounds like Dr. Bike has a dissatisfied customer...
Only one?
Given that I have a most of a functional bike shop in my garage, I don't have a dog in this fight. Others are free to comment.
Of course we're free to comment. It's a blog. Or, was that just to brag about your garage.
I've used both of the local bike mechanics. Don't really think we have to choose one over the other. There's plenty of room in the community for both. Hell, it's nice to have two of something in the community. Outside of banks, gas stations, and restaurants it gets pretty limited looking for two of any kind of business. Wish them both luck and use the one you like.
Yeah, I am very proud of my garage...
To each his own. But, that just seems a little odd.
You don't keep oily rags in that garage, do you?
